About the Project

An artful celebration of four local leaders will soon connect generations and communities through art. The Gertrude Wood Community foundation proposed a new underpass mural that elevates individuals and stories or hard work and perseverance to inspire the Driving Park Community. Partnering with local nonprofit organizations, community members, schools, and entrepreneurs, the mural advances the organization’s mission to strengthen the Driving Park neighborhood.

Selected Artists: Ava Collins & Rev. Jamar Turner
