The University District Organization has been serving the needs of the community since 1971. While located near The Ohio State University, the organization supports more than just a student population, and their proposal for the Iuka & Waldeck Pocket Park builds upon their belief in creating spaces through collaboration to better connect all that make the district home. The project activates a central green space with amenities like water fountains, benches, and lighting, and beautifies the space with additional landscape and an art totem, representative of the neighborhood history.
