About the Project
In 2023, three new public restrooms opened in Downtown Columbus adding a critical amenity to the area. Maintained through a partnership with the SID Public Services Association (SPSA), the project proposal, Downtown Public Restroom Art, seeks to transform these blank canvases from functional to vibrant spaces for new artwork. The SPSA plans to launch a Call for Artists and wrap these restrooms with imagery from local artists for public unveiling in Summer 2024.
